At this job in Geelong we removed the rusted out soaker flashing from one side of the chimney aswell as a lead flashing that had split from the other 3 sides that was causing a leak. A new zincalume flashing was then installed to all 4 sides of the chimney. An over flashing was angle grinded into the bricks of the chimney to make a nice clean seal that complies with VBA regulations.
